In Honor of Marc E. Williams

Marc Williams is a distinguished and respected leader of the defense bar.

Marc has worked tirelessly to advance the objectives of the organized defense bar during his career. Not only was Marc been an outstanding President of DRI, but he has served as President of the National Foundation for Judicial Excellence, the Lawyers for Civil Justice, and the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia with distinction. During his leadership tenure of these organizations and in his daily professional and personal life, Marc has demonstrated a commitment to improving the civil justice system and the profession.

In addition, Marc has served on the faculty of the IADC Trial Academy, and he continues to lecture extensively to legal, business and civic groups.

He is reputed as a preeminent trial lawyer, having first chair responsibility in more than 100 jury trials and appeals in state and federal court. Marc's practice focuses on class actions and other mass torts, product liability and commercial litigation, toxic torts, consumer fraud, drug and medical devise litigation, privacy and data security claims, and defending catastrophic injury and medical monitoring claims.

Marc Williams' accomplishments in and outside the courtroom are certainly worthy of recognition.
